Instagram Reels, Myth Magazine (2025)
Myth Magazine is a bold, visually immersive publication built for the desktop. Yet, most readers were consuming its content on their phones shrinking its impact and diminishing the artistic experience it was designed for.
The brief called for the creation of four to five short videos (around 10 seconds each) in portrait mode for Myth Magazine’s instagram that would subtly encourage users to switch to laptops without losing the magazine’s bold, artistic tone. A unifying tagline was also required to reinforce the message.
This line plays on the double meaning of “myths” as both stories and the magazine itself. It subtly mocks phone-scrolling culture while asserting that certain experiences like Myth deserve more space, more attention, more screen.
